People Risk is an aspect and element of Operational Risk in any industry or enterprise. In many the People factor and Human Error element has been reduced to be almost nonexistent. Given a statistical base such as Airlines Travel or Industrial Automation the risk from an Operational Internal Perspective is nearzero.Automation having its own risk is a different and NOT related to People Risk.

Malware Threats and Risks in Mobile Banking

There has been a huge growth in the mobile threats. Mobile devices are exposed to record number of malware attacks from cyber criminals, including a 400 percent increase in Android malware, as well as highly targeted Wi-Fi attacks. Cyber criminals have turned their attention to mobile devices. At the same time, the gap between hacker capabilities and an organization's defenses is widening. Using BEICF to adjust Basel AMA Operational Risk capital

The issue all of us face in using the BEICF data, is lack of structure and mechanism to quantify if controls fail. In most cases the implication of control failure and linkage to data loss is absent. IPO Scams... First Day Listing Horror Stories

We have read enough on the topic.A proposal from SEBI was to introduce a circuit limit on first few days of listing to try to contain the problem.

I personally do not think it will be a big deterrant for the IPO scams that are abound. The only benefit will be that a genuine investor will not lose all his money on Day 1 and instead only lose 10% or so. He might get a chance to get out on subsequent days.
