Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India has come up with a recent directive, General Circular No. 17/70 on June 7 2011, mandating filing of financial statements in XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) for certain classes of companies from the year 2010-2011 onwards. This webinar will focus on Concepts, introduction and nature of XBRL. The webinar will briefly touch upon the compliance requirements of XBRL and the next steps for companies.
